Solution - Any mixture made up of tiny particles that are evenly mixed and do not settle out.

Solute - Any substance that seems to disappear or dissolve.

Solvent - The substance in which the solute dissolves in

Solubility - The amount of a substance that can dissolve in 100g of solvent at a given temperature

Saturated - A solution is one that has dissolved all the solute it can hold at a given temperature.

Unsaturated - A Solution that can hold more solute at a given temperature

Concentrated - A solution has a large amount of solute in a solvent

Dilute - solution has a small amount of solute in a solvent

Colloid - is a mixture that, like a solution, does not settle out
